For decades, Abbott Animal Hospital has been serving Rehoboth, MA and surrounding areas as a leading provider of veterinary care since

1984. With more than 50 years of combined experience, our father and son team of Dr. Mohsen M. Gomaa and Dr. Ashraf M. Gomaa

remain dedicated to ensuring our patients receive the best care for the best quality of life possible.

Meet Our Staff:

• Dr. Mohsen M. Gomaa, D.V.M

Dr. Mohsen Gomaa is a 1973 graduate of Cario University Veterinary Medical School. After serving in the Egyptian military, he married and moved to the states in 1977. He worked as an associate veterinarian at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School before moving to Rhode Island and working at Warren Animal Hospital. He opened his private practice in Rehoboth, MA in 1984 and has been successfully practicing his passion of veterinary medicine. Dr. Mohsen enjoys all aspects of medicine especially internal medicine and surgery. He is a devoted husband and father who has done many wonderful things for his community and will continue to provide the best care possible.

• Dr. Ashraf M. Gomaa, D.V.M

Dr. Ashraf Gomaa is a 2010 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine with a 1-year clinical rotation at Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Ashraf started working with his father in pursing his life-long passion of veterinary medicine. Although he enjoys all aspects of medicine, he has a strong adoration for orthopedic surgery, regenerative medicine, and physiotherapy/rehabilitation. Dr. Ashraf enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, landscaping and practicing Jiu-jitsu and Muay Tai. He will continue to bring new innovative treatments and care to your pets and will provide an on-going relationship to his community.

Our Mission Statement:

Our continued goal is to deliver the highest quality of veterinary medicine to our patients. We are sensitive to the care and concern that each client brings to our practice for his or her pet. We serve the needs of our clients and their pets with a competent staff, excellent equipment, and continuous accessibility to our facility.

Communication among staff members and clients is important and vital to our ability to provide consistent care, and emphasizes our team approach to the practice of excellent veterinary medicine. Our staff meets regularly to discuss and implement new treatments, ideas, and procedures. Our veterinarians and support personnel provide preventative health care and treatment of disease problems to our broad-based clientele.
